Introduction: Mushtaq Ahmad Khan’s Resignation from Jamaat-e-Islami Marks a Significant Development in Pakistan’s Religious Political Landscape .The resignation of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan from Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) in September 2024 marks a significant development in Pakistan’s religious and ideological political landscape. This decision reflects the growing tension between intellectual freedom and organizational discipline within religious political parties in Pakistan.
