STUDY ON THE ISSUE OF MOTHER SHOOLING AND MALNUTRITION AMONG CHILDREN OF RURAL-URBAN PAKISTAN

Abstract

There are numerous causes of malnutrition which were discussed in the foregoing studies. The mother’s schooling’s influences on malnutrition of rural-urban children of Pakistan and there is no arbitrating factor to solve this issue specially in case of Pakistan.so this study will help us to find the major consequences of mother schooling and interceding affinity on chronic and acute malnutrition. A previous actual relationship that was analyzed by calculating the  celibately risk ratio by the support of  binary logistic regression examined by using a 3184 rural-urban mothers sample size which is regained from the recent Pakistan demographic and health survey 2012-13.as a result from the study we have  found that as compared to the rural ones urban mothers without knowledge they are more likely to have underweighted and retarded infants and there economic positions also matters so as comparing to the rich class mother the urban mother having poor status are more likely to have a chances of stunted and underweighted children so the rural one having the license and pursuing the medical services, there are less possibility to have the underweighted and stunted infants as compare to urban ones.  So Some strategies are important that should be made to solve the issues of education and other economic status that have positive impact on mother’s socioeconomic status and her behavior towards latest medication.
