Seebeck and Nerst effects, thermoelectric converters, nanocomposite materials
Abstract
An overview of the development directions of Seebeck and Nerns thermoelectric converters was conducted. An analysis of the physical mechanisms of the Seebeck and Nernst effects in various materials was carried out, and the efficiency of thermoelectric converters based on them was considered. It is shown that nanocomposite nanodisperse structures and nanoscale powders and multilayer nanofilms are currently the most promising material for the development of thermoelectric sources of electrical energy based on them.
