Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (Al) is revolutionizing supply chain management (SCM) in the wood furniture sector, bringing numerous opportunities for greater efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability. The paper reviews how Al technologies, including machine learning and predictive analytics, help overcome challenges like demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Although Al promises considerable potential for cost savings and operational efficiencies, there are challenges to adoption such as high costs, technical complexity, and labor shortages. This research underlines the importance of planning the integration of Al in a manner that establishes resilient and environmentally friendly supply chains. Leveraging Al can not only help businesses in the wooden furniture industry to keep up with consumer needs, meet environmental regulations, and remain competitive.
