Archiving Policy
Commitment to Long-Term Digital Preservation and Open Access
At Consortium Publisher – ICDTD Inc., Canada, we are committed to the enduring preservation, discoverability, and integrity of all scholarly content published under our imprint. To support this mission, we archive our publications through the Internet Archive, a globally recognized, open-access digital preservation platform.
About the Internet Archive
The Internet Archive is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a digital library of internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Founded in 1996, it provides free and permanent access to millions of digital resources, including scholarly literature, ensuring the continuity of scientific knowledge.
Key Features of the Internet Archive:
- Redundant and Distributed Digital Preservation
Content is stored across a network of geographically distributed servers to ensure fault tolerance and data security. - Universal Open Access
Archived scholarly content is available freely and permanently to the global academic community, supporting open science and equitable knowledge dissemination. - Metadata Integration and Searchability
All archived items are catalogued with comprehensive metadata, enabling efficient indexing by academic databases and search engines. - Digital Integrity and Authenticity
The Internet Archive employs checksum validation, version control, and robust digital storage protocols to preserve the authenticity and integrity of archived content.
Consortium Publisher's Archiving Practices
By archiving with the Internet Archive, we ensure:

- Scholarly Transparency: Archived materials include metadata, DOIs (where available), and licensing information to ensure full citation and reuse compliance.
